Matthew Pamental

Senior Lecturer

Education

I earned my Ph.D. from Indiana University. I did my undergraduate work at the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill. Before joining the Department in 2011, I taught at the University of Utah and at Northern Illinois University.

Research

My primary areas of interest are in American Philosophy, particularly the work of John Dewey, and applied ethics, especially environmental and animal ethics.
