Graduate Student
I am a fourth-year graduate student. I am interested in the philosophy of well-being and philosophy of technology. My current project is “Human Creativity for a Meaningful Life” which explains how creativity can provide meaning in our lives. I argue that creativity is a process that requires novelty, value, and agency. I contend that the creative process itself is meaningful for us. Then I describe three additional ways creativity can instill meaning in our lives: creative achievement, devotion to creativity, and the narrative structure of creativity.
When I am not reading or doing philosophy then I am likely on a walk enjoying our beautiful world. Also, I am studying Latin. Salve lector!
