Johnson Conducts Research at Oak Ridge

In 2005 graduate student Todd Johnson served as a Summer Research Fellow at the Oak Ridge Center for Advanced Studies, at the campus of Oak Ridge National Laboratoryhere in East Tennessee. Todd’s primary research project resulted in the report “Securing the Promises of Nanotechnology: A Survey of International Initiatives, Interests, and Ideologies.” The purpose of the project was to gain a better understanding of the state of nanotechnology and nanoscience across the globe. This initial research will serve as the basis for future normative work on the ethical, social, legal, and environmental implications of nanotechnology and nanoscience.
